Full Match: 2015 Royal Rumble

When he reigns, it was poor. To say Roman Reigns’ time on top of WWE hasn’t been the most universally beloved is an understatement. He hasn’t exactly been welcomed with open arms but there are a lot of fans who do seem to like him. The question though is what caused those problems? There are a lot of possible answers, but one night seems to stand out above others.

WWE has released the full video of the 2015 Royal Rumble. This match was held for the right to challenge the WWE World Champion at “Wrestlemania XXXI” and was won by Reigns. The match is noted for the reaction from the crowd, who was not pleased by Daniel Bryan being eliminated early in the match, leading to some very negative crowd responses. Here’s the match.

Opinion: I know the 2014 Rumble is the match that gets a lot of credit for some of modern WWE’s problems but my goodness this one is on a whole other level of bad. This was the Reigns Rumble and it did not go well to say the absolute least. Reigns leaving for half an hour and then coming back after Bryan had been eliminated ticked the fans off even worse than they had before to the point where even the Rock was getting booed out of the building. It’s kind of remarkable, but in a very bad way.
