Reason Why Kairi Sane Hasn’t Been Wrestled in 2 Months

Some fans have started to worry about Mae Young Classic wrestler Kairi Sane, who hasn’t competed in almost two months. Dave Meltzer provided an answer.

Sane last wrestled at NXT: ‘TakeOver: WarGames’ which took place almost two months ago on November 18, 2017. There she competed for the NXT Women’s Championship against Peyton Royce, Nikki Cross and Ember Moon, the latter of which would leave the match victorious.

This led Meltzer to respond to a fan on Twitter to confirm that Sane is banged up. While he did not provide any more information, it does appear that this isn’t something too serious and she should back sooner rather than later.

Yes, she’s banged up

This is evidenced by the fact that she worked the tapings, appearing on the December 27, 2017 edition of NXT where she was choked out by Shayna Baszler, who made her presence known to Moon.

Safe to say the #MaeYoungClassic is still fresh in the mind of @QoSBaszler#WWENXT
