It is safe to say when Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan envisioned a different conclusion to the first ever women’s Money In The Bank match, but a certain chinless man had to get involved in the match, causing a shock and disgusting end to the match.
While many fans are debating about the result of the first ever female version of the Money In The Bank match, Becky Lynch took to a backstage promo in a video for the WWE YouTube channel where she explained how the loss made her feel.
Lynch cut a promo you can watch below after Carmella became the first ‘Miss Money In The Bank‘ after James Ellsworth helped her capture the briefcase last night at ‘Money In The Bank.’ She explained that everyone always seemingly has somebody there for them, such as in the case of Mickie James for Alexa Bliss and now Ellsworth for Carmella.
I don’t blame Lynch for feeling the way she does, even if this was obviously in kayfabe. I hated that they had a man have to help the woman win the first match, as if they couldn’t trust them to finish it. No knock on Carmella, she is incredible and was my pick to win the match going in. Just the way they did it wasn’t something I liked. Becky is clearly passionate here.
Could this be indication of a heel turn? Is Becky right to feel like this? Let us know in the comments below or over on our Facebook page or Twitter account. Additionally, you can find me on Twitter at @SOSNH1995.
